The acquisition and processing of aluminum scrap (post-production and post-consumption), as well as aluminum ingots (primary and secondary), represent a priority for ALRO, both from the perspective of cost optimization and environmental protection. The aluminum recycling plan contributes to the circular economy and ensures responsible operations regarding environmental impact, in line with the company's certified management system.

An essential part of the company's sustainable development strategy is the Eco-Recycling Facility, a project aimed at continuously increasing the capacity to recycle aluminum scrap.

This pillar of the circular economy provides ALRO with the necessary means to acquire and process significant volumes of aluminum scrap, across a wide range of specifications that can be consulted HERE.

The dedicated team from the Procurement and Logistics Department is constantly expanding the supplier database, which currently includes specialized companies from Europe, as well as suppliers from Romania who understand the advantages of collaborating with a prestigious local partner.
