ALRO’s Primary Aluminium Division provides a comprehensive range of products designed to meet a wide spectrum of industrial applications. This division specializes in the production of wire, bars, and slabs, each meticulously manufactured to adhere to the stringent standards and requirements of the industry, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Products
Aluminium Wires, vailable in diameters of 9.5 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm, 19 mm, and 25 mm, this product conforms to EN 1715 standards. They have a chemical composition in line with EN AW1370 from EN 573-3, and its tensile strength ranges between 90 and 130 MPa. It is primarily used in the production of cables and conductors.
Slabs, available in various aluminium series and alloys, including 1xxx, 2xxx, 3xxx, 4xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx, and 7xxx, which come in sizes ranging from 1040 x 400 mm to 1640 x 500 mm. They are intended for rolling applications, as per EN 487 specifications.
ALRO produces homogenized aluminium bars made from AlMgSi alloys, including 6005, 6060, 6061, 6063, and 6082. These bars, available in diameters of 152 mm, 178 mm, 203 mm, 229 mm, 254 mm, and 279 mm, are designed for extrusion in accordance with EN 486.
The Primary Aluminium Division also manufactures its own anodes.
Use
Aluminium Wire is widely used in the production of cables and conductors, which are then transformed into finished products. These include telecommunications cables, essential for data and signal transmission, and high-voltage cables, crucial for electrical power transmission. The properties of aluminium wire, such as conductivity, durability, and flexibility, make it an ideal material for various applications, ensuring reliable performance in both telecommunications networks and electrical power distribution.
Aluminium Billets are used as raw material in the extrusion process, serving as the primary material for creating various types of profiles utilized across multiple industries. These profiles include structural components for construction, automotive parts, and custom shapes for specific engineering applications. Additionally, there are standard profiles, profiles designed for trucks, and custom profiles.
