Mr. Silviu Octavian MATEESCU graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics, Specialised in Machine Building Technology from the University of Craiova, in 1993, as well as various courses both in the technical field and in the economic field or project management. He graduated the MBA program "Economic Development of Enterprises" - organized by the National Institute for Economic Development Bucharest (INDE) within ASE Bucharest in collaboration with CNAM Paris, Academic Studies in Metallurgy, at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, National Expert in General Management and Industrial Management Consultancy, at the Association of Terotechnics and Terotechnology Bucharest. Starting with 1995 when he joined the ALRO team, until he took over the position of ME Director, he held several operative positions: Head of the ME ANOZI section; head of the ALRO mechanical service; Deputy Director ME ALRO; Operational Director ME ALUM; The manager of ME ALRO; Director ME ALRO; SMHL General Manager; Head of the ME Section of the ALRO foundry. Mr. Silviu Octavian MATEESCU has extensive experience and training and he has successfully coordinated numerous important capital repair projects and the implementation of investment objectives in ALRO, ALUM, SMHL, in order to meet the objectives of obtaining Integrated Environmental Permits in both ALRO and ALUM, to restart ALUM Tulcea, to reorganize the activity of ME at the group companies.
