ALRO donates medical equipment for OLT County Ambulance Service

- The Company has been involved in projects to support the local community, with a focus on the health sector, being a long-term partner for the county;
- During the COVID-19 pandemic, the aluminum producer donated over one million RON to combat its effects;
- The partnership with the Olt County Ambulance Service dates back to the early 2000s, when ALRO donated five fully equipped ambulances and continued over time, with support in equipment, electric wheelchairs and other materials.
Slatina, 13 March 2025 – ALRO S.A. (BSE: ALR, “the Company” or “ALRO”), one of the largest vertically integrated aluminium producers in Europe, measured by production capacity, announces a donation consisting of essential medical equipment to the Olt County Ambulance Service, to improve the intervention capacity and emergency medical assistance.
The donation includes EKG cables, pulse oximeters, manual and electronic blood pressure monitors, secretion aspirator in various quantities, equipment that will contribute to increasing the efficiency of rescue crews and improving the response time in emergency situations.

This donation is part of a long-term partnership between the Company and the Olt County Ambulance Service. Since 2008, ALRO Group has donated five fully equipped ambulances to the Olt County Ambulance Service and has supported the efforts of local and national institutions to prevent and mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic through donations of over RON 1,000,000, consisting of money, medical and protective equipment. In 2023, the Company supplied electric wheelchairs for the Olt County Ambulance Service, which facilitates the transport of non-mobile patients on stairs.
