Smelter
Due to restrictions imposed by the increase in electricity prices, ALRO is currently using only approximately 30% of its electrolytic aluminum production capacity. ALRO is implementing, in the electrolysis section, a project to reduce electricity consumption below the value of 13,000 kWh/t, a project named AP12 LE.
Casting
Aluminum casting is used because of its versatility. Through various casting methods, complex, strong and durable parts can be created. This process is essential in modern industry for producing a wide range of benchmarks, from auto parts to aircraft components, electronic equipment and more.
Recycling
The acquisition and processing of aluminum waste, as well as aluminum ingots, represent a priority for ALRO, both in terms of cost optimization and from an environmental protection perspective. The concrete aluminum recycling plan contributes to the circular economy and supports responsible business practices concerning environmental impact, in line with the environmental management certification held by the company.
Rolling
Rolling, through which raw aluminum is cut and transformed into sheets, strips, plates, or other flat products, is one of the essential processes in aluminum processing, allowing the production of semifinished products that are later used in various industrial applications.
CutSmart Systems
ALRO proudly announces the recent commissioning of a new aluminum plate processing line (CutSmart Systems), aimed at diversifying plate production and customizing products according to customer requirements.
Energy
ALRO continuously invests in technologies that enhance the energy efficiency of its production processes and adopts energy efficiency programs to reduce energy consumption per unit of aluminum produced. This includes, in addition to the eco-smelter, optimizing electrolysis equipment, utilizing residual heat, and implementing more efficient processes.
