With a dedicated team and advanced technologies, ALRO aims to be a leader not only in aluminum production but also in sustainability, with its mission and values centered around environmental protection as a top priority.
ALRO's production capacity is the main argument for positioning the company as one of the largest vertically integrated producers in Europe. All aluminum production and processing facilities are located in Slatina, Romania, and include a primary aluminum production unit, anodes section, casting house, an eco-friendly aluminum recycling facility ("Eco Topitoria"), hot and cold rolling mills, and an extrusion plant. Primary Aluminum includes the Anodes, Aluminum Plant, Casting House, Eco-friendly Scrap Recycling Facility, along with various sectors dedicated to repairs, spare parts, road and rail transport, and other auxiliary sections. Thanks to investments in modernizing equipment and cutting-edge technology, ALRO has reached a production capacity of 265,000 tonnes per year of primary aluminum, 100,000 tonnes per year of recycled aluminum, and 315,000 tonnes of cast aluminum annually. The anodes needed for alumina electrolysis are exclusively produced in-house.
